Song Along - Songwriting for Tweens & Teens

Hey teens and tweens, get ready for Song Along, a high-energy songwriting workshop where we dive into the history of pop music and the legendary songwriters who made it unforgettable! Not only will you learn about the music that shaped the world with award winning duo LoveyDove, but you’ll also get the chance to write your own hit songs! We’ll start with the piano, and maybe even ukuleles and guitars too—whatever helps you jam! Ideal for ages 10-16, but open to up to 18 year olds!

Each week, we’ll read and explore poetry and lyrics, digging into the stories behind the songs. You’ll journey through six decades of pop, soul, R&B, and rock ‘n’ roll, discovering how these iconic styles have inspired each other and created timeless tunes that still get us moving today!

Azalia Snail is an Award Winning singer-songwriter, musician, costumer in film and television, event producer, and music video director. She is a multi-instrumentalist and one half of the duo LoveyDove, with her husband Dan West.
