Lecture Topic: Birds of the Coachella Valley

Description:
The Coachella Valley lies along the Pacific Flyway and is home to hundreds of bird species. From the desert to the Salton Sea to the mountains, you won’t find a place in Southern California that can match this diversity of avian life. In this lecture, you’ll see a sample of the birds that make this area a birdwatcher’s paradise. You’ll also learn which birds might be found in a typical Coachella Valley backyard or golf course. At any time of the year, there are exciting birds to be found!
