Pressreaders for Beginners

Learn how to use Pressreader with your Palm Desert Library card. This program will walk you through how to use PressReader, which is free to all Palm Desert Library cardholders.

 Pressreader gives you access to a wide range of newspapers and magazines online. You will learn the basics of Pressreader and staff will provide guidance on downloading the app; signing in; browsing the catalogue, searching for publications, access the Pressreader games, and reading and listening to items chosen. 

You will have access to more than 7,000 of the world’s newspapers and magazines as soon as they’re available on shelves. Titles include The New York Times, The Economist, Rolling Stone, USA Today, The NewYorker, and much more. 

Participants will need a Palm Desert Library card and their device(s).
