Program Description

Event Details

Using the metaphor of the tree, the second journal class explores the seasons of our lives. If we look closely, we can see ourselves in them, our roots and growth. We lean on them and can appreciate their resilience and their role as keepers of time. Together, we will create a piece of art using a variety of materials, including collage paper, paints, pencils, and pens, as we celebrate the spiritual nature of trees and our own lives. It is the perfect class as we begin this new year.

NOTE:  Patrons are strongly encouraged to provide their own mixed-media journal with approximately 9"x12" of 140lb paper. The library will have a limited supply.
