Margit F. Chiriaco Rusche: A Life of Service at the Summit and the Patton Museum

Margit F. Chiriaco-Rusche is a lifelong Coachella Valley resident and business leader who oversees Chiriaco Summit, a site her family company has long owned and operated. Drawing on her Political Science background, she has secured critical infrastructure for the area, including water and commercial power, and has leveraged her extensive network — including a Congressional run — to champion community causes. Margit holds numerous leadership roles across the region, including President of the Chiriaco Summit County Water District, Vice President of California Women for Agriculture, and board member for both DACE and the Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce. A passionate community servant, she supports Catholic charities, the CV High Advisory Board, and is working to establish a CV Agriculture Academy. Among her most cherished endeavors is the General Patton Museum, which honors those who trained at the Desert Training Center and advances the cause of peace through historical awareness.
