Program Description:
What are the latest changes to Medicare Advantage? When will the shortage of primary care doctors and nurses stop? How are drugs for obesity being tested for other diseases and will they be covered by insurance?  How are changes in the Executive and Legislative branches of government affecting the average American?  In this seminar, we will pull recent headlines on actual or proposed changes to how healthcare is offered, delivered, and paid for in the United States.  Five to six different topics will be covered.  Attendees are invited to ask questions on the topics that will be addressed. 

Presenter Bio:
Mark Podrazik spent 27 years working with state governments responsible for Medicaid and other healthcare programs. As a healthcare consultant, he assisted 31 states in the design, financing, implementation, and evaluation of these public health programs. For 15 years, he led his own firm of consultants before joining a national firm and then taking early 
retirement in 2024.
